Antique Rooster Weathervane. This piece stood tall for quite some time over an late 1800s home. Mafe in the 1950s by Remmington Co.It comes apart, the rooster and arrow from the pole come off, and mounts back easily too. It does spin freely and nicely, works very good. The top hardaware is locked on very tight and has some rust. This is fine since there is no need to adjust that part. The hardware at the base will require a very strong person or drill and lubrication to get it to budge. Its also locked on very tight, this is the area where you might want to loosen it to make an adjustment. In the pictures you see some wiring around the weathervane, its been removed . It was just wrapped around it, it was not a repair. Made of cast aluminum.Together it weighs about 2 or 3 pounds guessing. Feel free to ask any questions. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY NEWPORT, VT 05855.
