Early Handcrafted and Designed Rooster Weathervane
Great smaller size Folk Art Rooster Weathervane made from Galvanized Metal.  Originally came from the Nova Scotia region.
Hand cut hammered sheets of metal to make the body and the wings.  A handsome head that had some red paint on the comb at one time.
He has a handsome tail as well with cut curver strips of metal to create a feathery plume.
This nice indoor size Folk Art Rooster sits on his own metal stand with a post and a flat base.
He measures 17" long, 13" tall (on the stand), and about 3" deep.
Lightweight, easy to move around.  Great on a shelf, or a great primitive centerpiece.
