    Description

    Up for bid is a Sprite Model Airplane made from aluminum Sprite cans.  These unique little planes are 7"x7" and about 3" high.  They are fully contructed entirely from four Sprite cans.  Almost nothing is wasted and the quality and craftsmenship is evident in the details.  Check out the pics.  The art of making these planes has been passed down our family for several generations now.  I can rememeber my grandfather showing us how to make them and selling them to tourists at the beach.  The design has been improved upon over the years and the result is what you see here.  These make great ornaments (Yes the propeller spins with a breeze), and there is even a copper loop to hang it from.  Classic Green and Teel Sprite Can Colors.  Sprite collectors will find this is a must have item.
